Snowy Winter Engagement : Justin+Mary : Utah Wedding Photographer

I'm not even sure where to start with these two, so I'll start here. I am completely obsessed with how amazing these two did picking outfits! SUCH perfect choices for a Winter engagement. These two will be tying the knot later this year at the gorgeous Silver Fork Lodge up Big Cottonwood Canyon. So I'm sure you can see how much they love the outdoors and the beautiful scenery we have here in Utah!

They also opted to do two engagement sessions, one in Winter, one in Spring. How fun is that! I'm so excited to shoot again with this darling couple in the Spring. For this session, we had to make the drive into the deep canyons to actually find some snow. Who'd have thought in January, in UTAH, I could be saying that?? Well it's true. With the temps being in the 40's and sunny, blue skies, all our valley snow melted weeks ago! I'm so happy they chose to make the drive and they were such troopers about hiking in the snowy, muddy foothills!.

Brigham City Temple Wedding : Ryan+Shawnee : Utah Wedding Photographer

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Today we're going back to September to Ryan and Shawnee's gorgeous wedding at the Brigham City temple. These two tied the knot in the early morning, then had an out of this world, TOTALLY PINTEREST WORTHY, reception. I was, and still am, blown away by Shawnee's creativity! By the way, this was their backyard. Yeah, I know. It was seriously a photographer's paradise with that gorgeous filtered sunlight! I told them they need to turn it into a venue so I can bring more clients there to have their receptions. :)

In all seriousness though, Shawnee and Ryan have been such kind, wonderful clients. It's weird to even call them that, I mean "new friends"! The one thing I'll never forget about these two is their incredible ability to always be smiling and laughing. It was just a blast and the furthest thing from "work". Thanks Shawnee and Ryan for letting me join in all the fun!

Salt Lake Temple Wedding Wadley Farms Reception : Drake+Tiffany : Utah Wedding Photographer

Happy Wednesday! Today I'm blogging the gorgeous wedding of Drake and Tiffany. They actually tied the knot on my birthday of all days! These lovelies booked with me back in early 2014. They were nothing short of a pleasure to work with! Isn't her dress just to die for?! The lace was breathtaking and such a fun dress to shoot! I also need to take a second to gush over the flowers. I'm sure you've heard me a million times rave about how much I adore Artisan Bloom.. AND HERE I GO AGAIN! Seriously though! That is what fairytales are made of.. gorgeous bouquets, centerpieces and flower crowns made by Artisan Bloom! Only, it doesn't have to be a fairytale, you can hire them and have THEE most amazing flowers you've ever dreamed of! Hahaha ok now back to their beautiful wedding day. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple, then held a ring ceremony and reception at Wadley Farms in Lindon. Another place I can't get enough of!
