Lavender Field Bridals+Groomals : Phillip+Lauren : Utah Wedding Photographer

So this finally happened. I had heard about the Utah lavender fields a little while back,  but since you have to visit them during a very specific timeframe (right when they bloom, but before they harvest), I hadn't done a session there until this one. These two are incredibly sweet and I'm so happy they went along with my suggestion for shooting at the lavender fields! These two are married now, so I'm finally sharing these! I honestly think shooting here fit so well with Lauren's vision for her wedding. Her dress, their details, and their adorable first look were just a dream to photograph.

Thanksgiving Point Wedding : Luis+Karen : Utah Wedding Photographer

Where do I start. I absolutely adore these two! I met them last year and talked all about their big day at Thanksgiving Point. Come June 21st, it was absolutely beautiful! Cloudy gray skies turned to blue sunny skies and these two were lit up with happiness as they said "I Do".  I think the day was absolutely perfect for this amazing couple who've known each other for a very large portion of their lives. I'm so happy I could be a part of it. And a huge thanks to Ashley Wortley who is such a fab coordinator at Thanksgiving Point!

Thanksgiving Point Summer Garden Bridals + Groomals : Steve+Olivia : Utah Wedding Photographer

I was insanely excited when Olivia contacted me about her wedding. You see, I photographed her brother's wedding back in December 2013, so I already knew her and her sweet family a little bit. I also knew from the get-go that it was going to be not only a gorgeous, but FUN, wedding. Her dress is absolutely breathtaking, and she can attest to how I was drooling over the gorgeous train.

We photographed their bridals+groomals at the Thanksgiving Point Gardens in early July. The funny part is, as we all headed toward Lehi, it started raining. Not just raining, but RAINING. We all kept on driving, crossing our fingers and hoping for the best, this is Utah after all. As I drove into Lehi, the sun was shining, but it was still raining. But, by the time I arrived at Thanksgiving Point, it had completely stopped! That's the best thing about Summer storms in Utah. It could be a downpour one minute and blue skies the next!
