Greenhouse + Mountain Engagement : Neil + Kylee : Utah Wedding Photographer

Afternoon post coming at ya today! I normally post in the AM but it has been one hectic day to say the least! I've been so crazy excited to post this totally amazing couple's engagements. The day of their session was looking to be suppppper rainy, so we changed up our initial location plans to include a gorgeous indoor location as well as a nearby mountain setting. As most of you know who follow my work, I only shoot indoor portrait sessions if they're super naturally well it. It's just my thing! Anyhow, so we photographed the first half of their session at a lovely greenhouse that was flooded with colorful blooms and lush greenery. I won't lie, I was obsessed. Then we headed out to the mountains and Neil and Kylee's adorable pup got to make an appearance too! I seriously had the best time with these two and they are obviously incredibly photogenic. They'll be tying the knot this summer at Louland Falls and I CANNOT wait to photograph their sweet faces again!

Rainy Spring Engagement : Kevin + Whitney : Utah Wedding Photographer

Let me just start off by saying.. it's April 28th I'm currently watching the snow fall outside my office window. Why? Because we live in Utah. It was 80 degrees back in March and now it's almost May and it's 39 degrees and snowing. Anyhow, this whole week has been cold and rainy and cloudy and SO. NOT. SPRING. These two lovely humans opted to shoot their session a day early, to accommodate for the rainy forecast that was scheduled for their initial session day. Well, the weather decided to throw us a curveball. It was supposed to be sunny and warm and a 0% chance of rain. Then, suddenly, the afternoon of our session, it switched over to a 90% chance of rain.... Anyhow. We started off their session and basically, the wind was so bad we had to go wait in our cars, hoping it would pass. Alas, it did not. So we decided to take our chances and head to a different location that, hopefully, would not be as windy. We headed up to the mountains, which by the way, had black clouds hovering over. We still headed there and GUESS WHAT? No wind at all, literally none. But rain? Yes. These two embraced it like none other and I'm so glad they did. I'm seriously swooning over every single photo of theirs. Because I can't wait any longer, let's take a peek into their session..

Also, these lovelies are tying the knot at Louland Falls this summer, woo!
