GUYS. These two are tying the knot this Fall at the fabulous Pierpont Place. How amazing, right?! They wanted to do a downtown, urban type engagement to keep with the setting, so we did just that.

I love, love, love eyelashes! They're so pretty and feminine, 

I always have to get some good "eyelash" shots. :)

I must admit, I kinda lost it over Kara's darling outfit from EXPRESS. Heck. Yes.

I think this photo happened right after a guy stumbled by asking if we "want a beer?". Good times shooting in downtown Salt Lake City. I always seem to have some sort of funny story.

This is the way two people in love look at each other. For me, this is magical. This is true happiness.

I get the biggest smiles when I'm editing photos like the one on the left. So. Stinkin. Cute.

Everyone, she has pockets. I get a little excited for dresses and skirt with POCKETS. Call me crazy.

Silver Lake Utah Engagement : Utah Wedding Photographer : Cody+Kelsie

I always find it interesting how people meet or come to know each other. Cute Kelsie and I actually met because she works at the dentist office I go to! I am so happy we did because these two are absolutely darling and I've had the best time getting to know them! Oh and we totally encountered the cutest moose during the session. There was a swarm of people standing about 10 feet away from the poor guy trying to take his picture. As cute as moose are, I'm just terrified of them. UM hello they're gigantic! Anyhow.. I'm too excited to talk moose, let's get into this magical session!

Any time I see moss, I have to shoot the ring with it. I have some weird obsession with moss. It's gorgeous ok, give me a break. And THAT ring! Ok. :)

These tall pine trees are unreal. Utah is so pretty..

I cannot tell you enough how much I love when my darling clients bring cute things they've hand made or spent time on to incorporate into their session. Case in point, that darling wedding date banner.

Sunlight oh dear gorgeous sunlight! What a pretty night for a session. Swoon..

Well, I am counting the seconds until I get to shoot their bridals next month and their wedding at one of my fave venues, Log Haven, in August!

Utah Spring Country Rustic Engagement : Utah Wedding Photographer : Brett+Jaci

I met Jaci WAY back in January when we talked a bunch about her wedding plans. The fact that it's now JUNE and I just photographed her engagements is mind blowing. I can't wrap my head around how fast this year is going by! These two will be tying the knot in August, and I'm sure that'll be here before we know it too.

How fun is this gorgeous dress from the Buckle?? That cutout is perfection.

This blanket had special meaning to them, so I'm happy we could incorporate it into the session!

Is there anything better than rolling hills?! Utah is one pretty cool place.

They got both of their outfits from the Buckle. They are naturals at picking amazing wardrobe!

Cute miss Jaci actually works at one of the salons that I go to.. you may have heard of it.. 

LUNATIC FRINGE. Yep. That's why her hair and makeup are so on point.

This was the very last frame of the session. I love the feel and mood (oh and the light).

I must say, when these two stepped out of the car, I was so completely in love with their outfit choices! Seriously how perfect for a Spring engagement?! And don't even get me started on the bubbles we got to play in at the end of their session. It was SUCH a perfect day to be outside shooting. These two are absolutely darling and I for one cannot wait for their Summer bridals groomals and wedding!
