Masquerade Styled Bridals : Utah Wedding Photographer

This was a super fun session thought up by me after getting inspired by a masquerade mask at a Halloween store. I knew I wanted to keep it bridal-related and it just clicked. I had my fabulous friend Kali Wengreen work her magic on hair and makeup and our darling bride is Kinzey Ray. We had a blast to say the least.

Happy Spring

I've been waiting for this day since the first day of Winter.
Happy first day of Spring!

McMullin House Engagement : Jacquelyn+Blake : Utah Wedding Photographer

These two are total sweethearts. It looks like it's about 65 degrees out in these shots, right? Well, it was probably only about 37 with a bit of wind chill, but the best part is you'd never know. By the end of the session, we could barely move our fingers, but hey, it looks like beautiful Spring time!

These two made it so easy to photograph them. I couldn't be more excited to shoot their bridals/groomals and wedding day this Spring.

And a huge thanks to the always amazing McMullin House.

Something about old trucks.

Isn't her ring just stunning?!

Yes, I totally asked them to do "the superman".

Tomatoes, Time Change + The Thought Of Getting Instagram

Well, you guessed it. The one time of year we're all lacking sleep is upon us. Yep, it's the dreaded time change when we lose an hour. For me, it marks the beginning of Spring, so I don't mind sacrificing an hour of sleep in exchange for tulips, sunny days and no-jacket weather.

That leads me into my next topic.. tomatoes. Yes, tomatoes. Specifically organic heirloom tomatoes. I could buy dozens upon dozens and never get sick of looking at their vibrant colors and individual uniqueness. I might be a little obsessed to say the least. My poor hubby comes walking out to our kitchen while I'm snapping away at this shot.. Confused to say the least, but not hardly surprised.

You'd think, being a photographer and all, I'd be all over Instagram. No, sadly no. I feel like the kid that got left behind when it comes to Instagram. I have literally no clue how to use it. {I think I could catch on}. But the fact of actually starting is what terrifies me, which is what I did yesterday. I'm a one-photo-shared kinda girl on Instagram at the moment. Maybe I'll make a little goal of actually using it this weekend. Wish me luck!
